Dakpo Tashi Namgyal (དྭགས་པོ་བཀྲ་ཤིས་རྣམ་རྒྱལ་, Wyl. dwags po bkra shis rnam rgyal) (1512/3-1587) was an important master of the Dakpo Kagyü tradition who wrote several texts on Mahamudra, including what is generally considered to be its definitive manual.
