The Eight Lords of Physicians (Tib. སྨན་བླ་བརྒྱད་, men la gyé, Wyl. sman bla brgyad) aka Eight Sugatas who are Lords of Physicians (སྨན་བླ་བདེ་གཤེགས་བརྒྱད་, men la deshek gyé, sman bla bde gshegs brgyad) aka Eight Sugata-Brothers who are Lords of Physicians (སྨན་བླ་བདེ་གཤེགས་མཆེད་བརྒྱད་, men la deshek ché gyé, sman bla bde gshegs mched brgyad) aka Eight Brothers who are Lords of Physicians (སྨན་བླ་མཆེད་བརྒྱད་, men la ché gyé, sman bla mched brgyad) — a set of Eight ‘Medicine Buddhas’ appearing in two Kriya Tantra texts[1]. They are the Seven Tathagatas with the addition of Shakyamuni Buddha:
- Shakyamuni (Skt. Śākyamuni; Wyl. shAkya thub pa)
- The Glorious King whose Name is Widely Renowned (Skt. Suparikīrtitanāmaśrīrāja; Wyl. mtshan legs yongs grags dpal gyi rgyal po)
- The King who Sounds the Energy of Virtue (Skt. Kuśalatejonirghoṣarāja'; Wyl. mkhas pa gzi brjid kyi sgra dbyangs kyi rgyal po)
- The One with the Accomplishment of the Vow of the Radiance of Gold and Fine Stainless Jewels (Skt. Suvarṇabhadravimalaratnaprabhāsavratasiddhi; Wyl. gser bzang dri med rin chen snang brtul zhugs pa)
