Sixteen kinds of emptiness, or shunyata (Skt. ṣoḍaśaśūnyatā; Tib. སྟོང་ཉིད་བཅུ་དྲུག་, tongnyi chudruk; Wyl. stong nyid bcu drug), which are mentioned in Chandrakirti's Madhyamakavatara:
