Thank you, Yang Chen and Yeshe Chodron, with deepest gratitude, for adding the many important points which were unavailable to me. For years and years I'd hoped that one of Lama Gonpo's close students would put up a page to him, but finally, though I was the very least of his it seemed that task had fallen to me to initiate, hoping that others with more knowledge would continue and complete it. Please add more of your extensive information, reminiscences, and especially photographs! Also, there is a rather rough version of this Rigpawiki bio on the Wikipedia site which needs expanding and polishing. Sebastien has been an invaluable guide in organizing and correcting this page.
