==Information on Car Accident== | |||
There is information on date of car accident (given as 22 or 24 January 1973) from Sikkim Palace Archives on British Library site under the erroneous heading of Tsikey (sic) Chokling Rinpoche's Correspondence and Death: https://eap.bl.uk/archive-file/EAP880-1-4-19 The more likely date is 22 January, which corresponds to the Tibetan date given here on the main page. |
Latest revision as of 10:11, 8 January 2024
Found two published stories about the third Neten Chokling:
- In The Snow Lion's Turquoise Mane, by Lama Surya Das, pp.54-55
"A Rude Awakening"— the delightful story of how Jamyang Khyentsé Chökyi Lodrö introduced Neten Chokling to the nature of mind by kicking him in the guts. Pride, fart and direct pointing out instructions are other ingredients of the story...
- In Blazing Splendour, by Tulku Urgyen Rinpoche, pp.340-341 (with pictures)
There's also a line on each of the first and second Neten Choklings.
