Dharma Mati is the Rigpa centre in Berlin, Germany.
Name
Dharma Mati is the Sanskrit equivalent of the Tibetan Chökyi Lodrö, meaning 'intelligent understanding of the Dharma'.
History
The grand opening took place in October 2007, with a five day-retreat led by Sogyal Rinpoche. At the end of 2011, 25 years after the first Kirchheim retreat, Rigpa Germany was the main host for Rigpa's first interactive retreat via video streaming. Sogyal Rinpoche led the retreat from Australia, together with Patrick Gaffney, who was holding the event in Berlin.
