Ganden Monastery (Wyl. dga' ldan) - the great Gelugpa monastery founded by Je Tsongkhapa in 1409 and thereafter headed by the Ganden Tripa, the throneholders of Ganden, beginning with Tsongkhapa's foremost disciples Gyaltsab Darma Rinchen and Khedrup Gelek Palzang.
