The Seven Tathagatas (Skt. sapta-tathāgata; Wyl. de bzhin gshegs pa bdun) — a set of Seven Buddhas appearing in two Kriya Tantra texts[1]. They are:

  1. Lord of Physicians, Radiant Lapis Lazuli King aka the 'Buddha of Medicine' (Skt. Bhaiṣajyaguru-Vaiḍūryaprabhārāja; Wyl. sman gyi bla bai dū rya’i ’od kyi rgyal po)
  2. King of Insight, Playful Dharma Ocean of Higher Knowledge (Skt. Dharmasāgarāgramativikrīḍitābhijñārāja; Wyl. chos rgya mtsho mchog gi blos rnam par rol bar mngon par mkhyen pa’i rgyal po)
  3. Dharma Expounding Melodious Ocean (Skt. Dharmakīrtisāgaraghoṣa; Wyl. chos sgrags rgya mtsho’i dbyang)
  4. Sorrowless Eminent Splendour (Skt. Aśokottamaśrī; Wyl. mya ngan med mchog dpal)
  5. Flawless Pure Gold, Jewel Light, Master of Courageous Conduct (Skt. Suvarṇabhadravimalaratnaprabhāsavrata; Wyl. gser bzang dri med rin chen snang brtul zhugs pa)
