Four results of the Hinayana path
- Stream-enterer – One who has entered the stream leading to nirvana
- Once-returner – One who must return once more to the desire realm in order to abandon the remaining discards
- Non-returner – Once who no longer needs to take rebirth in the desire realm in order relinquish discards
- Arhat – One who has completely overcome the enemy of the disturbing emotions and is therefore worthy of praise
