Martön Palden Rinchen (Wyl. smar ston dpal ldan rin chen) from Drosa Monastery was an important master in the lineages of transmission for the Vinaya and Abhidharmakosha in Tibet. He was also a teacher of the first Dalai Lama, Gendün Drup.
