The five pure abodes (Wyl. gtsang gnas lnga) are the five uppermost realms of the seventeen abodes of gods in the form realm, and the highest in this world according to Indian cosmogony.
- Unexcelled (Skt. Akanishtha; Wyl. ‘og min)
- Great Vision (Wyl. shin tu mthong)
- The Marvellous (Wyl. gya nom snang ba)
- Without Distress (Wyl. mi gdung pa)
- Not So Great (Wyl. mi che ba)
