The Eight Holy Places (Wyl. gnas chen brgyad; Skt. aṣṭhamahāsthāna) are the eight most important places related to life of the Buddha. They are,
- Lumbini garden, Kapilavastu
- Bodhgaya
- Sarnath, Deer Park
- Jetavana, Shravasti
- Sankisa
- Rajagriha
- Vaishali
- Kushinagara
