Relation (Skt. sambandha; Tib. འབྲེལ་བ་ 'brel ba) is defined as gzhan sel phyin ci ma log pa'i blo ngor chos gzhan mi 'dor ba
Subdivisions
- relation of identical nature (Skt. tādātmyasambandha; bdag gcig 'brel ba) as, for example, with the qualities of being created and impermanent and so on with regard to a single entity such as a vase.
- relation of origination, causal relation (Skt. tadutpatti; de byung gi 'brel ba) as, for example, with fire and smoke.
