Shiva Rinpoche was recognized and enthroned by Dudjom Rinpoche as a an incarnation of Golok Serta Rinpoche. His root teachers are his father Second Degyal Rinpoche, Thinley Norbu Rinpoche and Penor Rinpoche. Rinpoche lives in Nepal and spends much of his time in the mountain areas of northern Nepal doing reteat in remote places.
