Tulku Lhatop aka Lhachen Tobden, Lhachen Tobkyi Gyalpo (1884-1942) was a son of Dudjom Lingpa and of Akyabza Kalzang Drönma[1]. He became a main Dudjom Tersar lineage holders.
Birth, Family, Recognition
Tulku Lhatop was born in 1884 when his father was 50. Dudjom Lingpa recounts[2]:
- In 1884, one morning in the middle summer month, one my sons was born. Twenty days after his birth he was able to call his mother and repeat the letters of the alphabet. He was given the name Lhachen Tobkyi Gyalpo, Magnificent Ruler Mighty King.
