Twelve ayatanas (Skt. dvadaśa āyatana; Tib. སྐྱེ་མཆེད་བཅུ་གཉིས་, Wyl. skye mched bcu gnyis) —

• the six sense objects (or six outer sources):

• the six sense faculties (or six inner sources):
