Concealment (Skt. mrakśa; Tib. འཆབ་པ་, Wyl. ‘chab pa) — one of the fifty-one mental states defined in Abhidharma literature. According to the Compendium of Abhidharma, it belongs to the subgroup of the twenty subsidiary destructive emotions.

Tib. འཆབ་པ་ནི་གཏི་མུག་དང་ཆགས་པའི་ཆར་གཏོགས་པ་ལེགས་པར་བསྐུལ་བ་ལ་མི་འཇུག་ཅིང་རང་གི་ཉེས་པ་སྒྲིབ་པར་འདོད་པ་སྟེ། འགྱོད་པ་དངརེག་པར་མི་གནས་པའི་རྟེན་བྱེད་པའོ།
Concealment is not engaging in what one has been exhorted to do, [namely to abandon what needs to be abandoned and to adopt what needs to be adopted] and a wish to cover up for one's faults.
