The five female buddhas of the five families are,
- Lochana (Tib. Chenma) the consort of Akshobhya
- Mamaki (Tib. Mamaki) the consort of Ratnasambhava
- Pandara (Tib. Gökarmo) the consort of Amitabha
- Samaya Tara (Tib. Damtsik Drolma) also known as Green Tara, the consort of Amoghasiddhi
- Dhatvishvari (Tib. Ying Chukma) also known as Vajra Datvishvari or White Tara, the consort of Vairochana
