Dodrupchen Rigdzin Tenpé Gyaltsen, aka Dodrupchen Tulku Rigdzin Jalü Dorje (1927-1961) was recognized by Amdo Geshe as a tulku of the Third Dodrupchen. He died in a Chinese prison in 1961.[2] There were two main incarnations; the other, Thubten Trinlé Palzang (1927-2022) escaped to Gangtok, Sikkim in 1957.
