The Ten Wrathful Ones

The Ten Wrathful Ones (Skt. daśakrodha; Tib. ཁྲོ་བོ་བཅུ་, trowo chu, Wyl. khro bo bcu) — the ten main deities in the mandala of Vajrakilaya, surrounding the main deity in each of the ten directions.

• Hūṃkāra (ཧཱུྃ་ཀ་ར་) in union with Dorje Drachin (Resounding Vajra, རྡོ་རྗེ་སྒྲ་འབྱིན, rdo rje sgra 'byin ma, Skt. Śābdavajra), at the zenith
• Krodhavijaya (རྣམ་རྒྱལ ; rnam rgyal) in union with Dorje Nyema (Haughty Vajra, རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙ྄ེམས་མ), in the east
• Nīladaṇḍa (དབྱུག་སྔོན་པོ, dbyug pa sngon po) in union with Dorje Dermo (Vajra Claw, རྡོ་རྗེ་སྡེར་མོ, rdo rje sder mo), in the south-east
• Yamāntaka (གཤིན་རྗེ;gshin rje gshed) in union with Durtrö Dakmo, or Dorje Durtrö Dak (Lady of the Charnel Ground, རྡོ་རྗེ་དུར་ཁྲོད་བདག, Skt. Śmāśānikā), in the south
• Ārya Acala (མི་གཡོ་བ; mi g.yo ba) in union with Dorje Tünkhung (Vajra Mortar, རྡོ་རྗེ་གཏུན་ཁུང, Skt. Vajramūśikā), in the south-west
• Hayagrīva (རྟ་མགྲིན; rta mgrin) in union with Dorje Tummo (Fierce Vajra, རྡོ་རྗེ་གཏུམ་མོ, Skt. Vajracaṇḍikā), in the west
• Aparājita (འདོད་རྒྱལ; a'dod rgyal) in union with Dorje Danyem (Haughty Arrow Vajra, རྡོ་རྗེ་མདའ་སྙེམས, rdo rje mda' snyems), in the north-west
• Amṛtakuṇḍalī (བདུད་རྩི; Wyl. bdud rtsi 'khyil ba) in union with Dorje Lungchin Ma or Düdtsi Lungchin Ma (Wind Blowing Vajra, རྡོ་རྗེ་རླུང་འབྱིན་མ; Skt. Vāyuvegā), in the north
• Trailokyavijaya (ཁམས་གསུམ) in union with Dorje Söché Ma (Vajra Slayer, རྡོ་རྗེ་གསོད་བྱེད་མ, gsod byed ma; Skt. Ghātakā), in the north-east
