Balaha

Balaha (Wyl. ba la ha) the king of horses, who bears a wish-fulfilling jewel on his back, is an emanation of Avalokiteshvara. The story of Avalokiteshvara's manifestation as Balaha is told in chapter six of the Clear Mirror (rgyal rabs gsal ba'i me long) by Sakyapa Sönam Gyaltsen.
