Buddhagupta (Skt.; Tib. བུདྡྷ་གུཔྟ་, Wyl. bud+d+ha gup+ta), sometimes called Buddhagupta-nātha (བུདྡྷ་གུཔྟ་ནཱ་ཐ་, bud+d+ha gup+ta nA tha) or Buddhanātha, was a sixteenth century Indian tantric master. His Tibetan disciple Tāranātha wrote his biography around the year 1601.
