Buddha of Medicine mantra and dharani —

Mantra

  • Sanskrit: tadyathā oṃ bhaiṣajye bhaiṣajye mahābhaiṣajye (bhaiṣajye) rāja samudgate svāhā
  • Tibetan pronunciation: teyatha om bhekanzé bhekanzé maha bhekanzé (bhekanzé) radza samutgaté soha

The mantra is found in both forms—with or without the second bhekanzé in parenthesis.

Dharani

  • Sanskrit: namo bhagavate bhaiṣajyeguru vaiḍūryaprabharājaya tathāgatā arhate samyaksaṃbuddhaya tadyathā oṃ bhaiṣajye mahābhaiṣajyerāja samudgate svāhā
