Nyida Sangye
Nyida Sangye (Tib. ཉི་ཟླ་སངས་རྒྱས།, Wyl. nyi zla sangs rgyas) was a 14th century tertön and the father of Karma Lingpa. He wrote the Inserting the Grass-stalk Prayer[1], an aspiration prayer for the accomplishment of phowa practice, which was transmitted through the lineage of Dzogchen Monastery and can be found in the Longchen Nyingtik phowa liturgy.[2]
