On his master’s instruction, Lama Kedrup left Dudjom Lingpa in Golok with other senior students and made the long journey to [[Pemakö]] to find the reincarnation of his master : Dudjom Rinpoche.

Ling Lama Chöjor Gyatso aka Ling Lama Orgyen Chöjor Gyatso and Golok Lang Lama Tupten Chökyi Jorpa (19th-20th centuries), was a highly accomplished Dzogchen master. In the early part of his life, he was a student of Patrul Rinpoche and later he became a student of Dudjom Lingpa.

Ling Lama Chöjor Gyatso left Dudjom Lingpa in Golok, Tibet, with other senior students such as Lama Khedrup, and made the long journey to Pemakö to find the reincarnation of his master: Dudjom Rinpoche, to whom he became a root master.
