Sangyum Rigzin Wangmo married Dudjom Rinpoche while they were still in Tibet. She is the mother of Chimey Wangmo (the eldest daughter), Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche a major holder of the Dudjom Tersar lineage, and Tsering Penzom, their younger daughter.
Sangyum Rigzin Wangmo is still alive, but has been in strict retreat for many years. She is considered by many masters as a true hidden dakini.
