Tibetan long trumpet
(Redirected from Tibetan horn)
Tibetan long trumpet (Tib. དུང་ཆེན་, dungchen, Wyl. dung chen), also called brass trumpet (Tib. རག་དུང་, ragdung, Wyl. rag dung) or red trumpet (Tib. དུང་དམར་, dungmar, Wyl. dung dmar), the red referring to the copper of which they are often made. The Tibetan long trumpet is a long trumpet or horn used in Tibetan Buddhist ritual. There are different sizes, some being about two meters long and others reaching lengths of even four or five meters.
Out of the four enlightened activities, the long trumpet is related to magnetizing.
