He was the brother of the second Dzogchen Rinpoche and that might be where the confusion lies. My notes, which are taken from different Tibetan history books, also say that he founded Shechen, in the wood tiger year, which was 1734. According to all the sources I can find, Gyurme Kunzang Namgyal (1711-1769) was the second Rabjam Rinpoche. My notes, which are taken from different Tibetan history books, also say that he founded Shechen, in the wood tiger year, which was 1734.
