Ten great aspirations of a bodhisattva
1) to venerate the buddhas
2) to retain the sacred Dharma
3) to manifest all bodily forms
4) to enter into all realms
5) to perfect the paramitas
6) to bring sentient beings to maturation
7) to purify the realms
8) to abide by the experience that accords with all bodhisattvas
9) to be meaningful in all modes of behavior
10) to attain the great enlightenment.
Accompanying these ten aspirations, there are hundreds of thousands of aspirations, as well as countless minor ones.
