Ocean of Good Explanation (Tib. ལེགས་བཤད་རྒྱ་མཚོ་, lek shé gyatso, Wyl. legs bshad rgya mtsho) - a commentary on the Bodhicharyavatara written by Ngulchu Tokmé Zangpo. Patrul Rinpoche would often use this commentary as a basis for teaching the text.
Translations
- Due to be translated by the Library of Tibetan Classics [1]
- This commentary was also used by Stephen Batchelor as a basis for his translation of the root text of the Bodhicharyavatara published by the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives. Most of the Thogme Zangpo’s commentary on the ninth chapter is included in Batchelor’s translation, for the sake of clarifying the root text.
