Sixteen kinds of emptiness, or shunyata (Skt. ṣoḍaśaśūnyatā; Tib. tongnyi chudruk; Wyl. stong nyid bcu drug), which are mentioned in Chandrakirti's Madhyamakavatara:

- emptiness of the outer and inner
