Buddhas of the five families (Skt. jinakula; Tib. རྒྱལ་བ་རིགས་ལྔ་, Wyl. rgyal ba rigs lnga) — the five peaceful buddhas of the sambhogakaya:
- Vairochana Tib. རྣམ་པར་སྣང་མཛད་, (buddha family)
- Akshobhya Tib. མི་བསྐྱོད་པ་, (vajra family)
- Ratnasambhava Tib. རིན་ཆེན་འབྱུང་གནས་, (ratna family)
- Amitabha Tib. འོད་དཔག་མེད་, (padma family)
- Amoghasiddhi Tib. དོན་ཡོད་གྲུབ་པ་, (karma family)
They can be in union with the five female buddhas.
