The five king sutras are,
- The Sutra of Samantabhadra's Aspiration for Good Actions (Tib. Zangchö Mönlam)
- The Sutra of Purification of Vajra Vidharana (Tib. Dorje Namjom)
- The Heart Sutra (Tib. sherab nyingpo)
- The Sutra of the Meditation on the Wisdom of the Moment of Death (Tib. daka yeshe)
- The Sutra of the confession of faults (Tib. tung shakpa).
