Tubten Chökyi Drakpa

Minyak Tsara Khenchen Tubten Chökyi Drakpa (Wyl.mi nyag rtsa ra mkhan chen thub bstan chos kyi grags pa) (1916–2005). He studied with Minyak Kunzang Sönam's attendant Apel in his youth and was also widely regarded as an unofficial reincarnation of Minyak Kunzang Sönam. He studied at Dzogchen Monastery and Shechen. Later he became the head Khenpo at Dzogchen Shri Singha Shedra.

Some of his teachers were the Fifth and Sixth Dzogchen Rinpoches, Thupten Chökyi Dorje and Jikdral Changchub Dorje, Khenpo Kunpal, and Shechen Kongtrul. He had many students, including Alak Zenkar Rinpoche and Anyen Rinpoche.

He composed a large commentary on Yumka Dechen Gyalmo, a short work on the Twenty Sanghas and a commentary on Tara.
