Avichi Hell (Skt. avīci; Tib. མནར་མེད་, narmé, Wyl. mnar med) aka Vajra Hell — the lowest of the Eight Hot Hells. It is sometimes translated as the Hell of Unrelenting Pain, or the Hell of Ultimate Torment.

According to the Treasury of Abhidharma on III.58, two reasons are given for its name: unlike in other hells, there is never any interruption (vīci) of suffering, or there is no agreeable state (vīci) there at all.
