KLS glossary says: "There are 6 places bearing this name, from the eighth paradise of the gods of the Fourth Concentration [see form realm] up to the absolute Akanishtha, a buddha field beyond anything conceivable."--Sébastien 00:05, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

TUR in Rainbow Painting writes: Akanishtha is of two types: the ultimate Akanishtha, often called the palace of Dharmadhatu, refers to the state of enlightenment of all buddhas. There is also the symbolic Akanishtha, which is the fifth of the Five Pure Abodes and is still within the Realms of Form, located in the sky above Mount Sumeru. The symbolic Akanishtha is the highest among the seventeen worlds in the Realms of Form, situated just below the Formless Realms. --Sébastien 00:25, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Seb, where this classification in three comes from?

This article seems to need a little bit of attention. The sanskrit 'Akanishtha' relates to two terms in Tibetan. Given the litteral way Sanskrit was translated into Tibetan one must be inacurate (the second occurence, when describing the seccond type of Akanishta). Ogmin Chenpo is the Tibetan for Great Akanishtha, not simply Akanishtha. Not knowing what your sources are, I am not sure how to best deal with this.
