Three secrets (Skt. triguhya; Tib. sangwa sum; Wyl. gsang ba gsum) — in Vajrayana, the three doors of a human being are considered to be, in essence, the three secrets:

  • the secret of the body (Wyl. sku'i gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the nirmanakaya
  • the secret of the speech (Wyl. gsung gi gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the sambhogakaya
  • the secret of the mind (Wyl. thugs kyi gsang ba)—the potential for actualizing the dharmakaya
