Goser Onpo Khyenrab Gyasto Rinpoche was a student of Dudjom Lingpa, based in Shyichen Monastery.
When Golok Serta Rinpoche joined the monastery at the age of 8, he gave him the cycles of empowerments, teachings and oral transmissions of:
- Namchö
- Longsal Nyingpo
- Rigdzin Düddul Dorje from tradition the Katok Monastery
- Dudjom Tersar, and especially the Tröma Nakmo
