Khampagar Monastery was founded by the eighth Khamtrul Rinpoche, Dongyu Nyima (1931-1980), in the late 1950s. It is in Tashi Jong near Bir in Himachal Pradesh. It is home to the famous tokdens, yogins who have gained high levels of realization.
