Khampa Karma Tenphel (Wyl. ka.rma bstan 'phel), the First Khamtrul Rinpoche (Wyl. khams sprul rin po che) (1569-1627/37) — an important master of the Drukpa Kagyü lineage and one of the principal disciples of Yongdzin Ngawang Zangpo (Wyl. yongs 'dzin ngag dbang bzang po) (1546-1615).
