Karma Chökyi Nyinché
Karma Chökyi Nyinché (Tib. ཀརྨ་ཆོས་ཀྱི་ཉིན་བྱེད་, Wyl. karma chos kyi nyin byed) (1879?-1939) — the tenth in the line of Surmang Trungpa (Tib. ཟུར་མང་དྲུང་པ་, Wyl. zur mang drung pa) incarnations. The eleventh was Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche (1940-1987). Surmang Trungpa Chökyi Nyinché studied with the Fourth Shechen Gyaltsab, Gyurme Pema Namgyal and Jamgön Kongtrul Lodrö Tayé, and was one of the teachers of the 2nd Jamgön Kongtrul Khyentse Özer, Karsé Kongtrul. He was also a teacher of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö.
