Yaksha (Skt. yakṣa; Tib. གནོད་སྤྱིན་, nöjin, Wyl. gnod sbyin) — one of the eight classes of gods and demons. Yakshas are powerful beings, some times beneficent and sometimes malignant, who live on earth, in the air, and in the lower heavens.
