Shechen Rabjam Tenpé Gyaltsen (Tib. ཞེ་ཆེན་རབ་འབྱམས་བསྟན་པའི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་, Wyl. zhe chen rab 'byams bstan pa'i rgyal mtshan) (1650-1704) — the first Shechen Rabjam. He was an emanation of Buddha Ashoka (Wyl. mya ngan med), Acharya Humkara, Drokben Lotsawa Ngok Lekpé Sherab and others. He studied logic and philosophy extensively and gained the title Rabjampa. He met Dzogchen Pema Rigdzin at Yerpa and received from him the Nyingtik teachings. He went to Kham together with the first Pönlop Namkha Ösal. His main student was Hor Lama Pema Wangchuk.
