Saga[1] Dawa (Wyl. sa ga zla ba) is the fourth month of the Tibetan lunar calendar. It is considered to be the most important month of the year for practice since Buddha's birth, enlightenment and parinirvana all fall within this period (according to Tibetan tradition). The first fifteen days of the month are considered especially important.
Notes
- ↑ Saga (Skt. Vaishakha) is one of the twenty-eight constellations, corresponding to Alpha Libroe.
