Two-Volume Lexicon
The Two-Volume Lexicon (Tib. སྒྲ་སྦྱོར་བམ་པོ་གཉིས་པ་, drajor bampo nyipa, Wyl. sgra sbyor bam po gnyis pa) or Madhyavyutpatti (Tib. བྱེ་བྲག་ཏུ་རྟོགས་བྱེད་འབྲིང་པོ་, jedrak tu tok jé dringpo, Wyl. bye brag tu rtogs byed 'bring po) is a text containing guidelines for translation produced during King Senalek Jingyön’s reign by several panditas and lotsawas—especially panditas Jinamitra and Danashila, and lotsawa Shyang Yeshé Dé—establishing the rules of translation. It is considered a commentary on the Mahavyutpatti.
