Tulku Pema Yeshe was a nyingma master of the early 20th century, and a direct student of Dudjom Rinpoche.
Birth, Family, Recognition
Tulku Pema Yeshe was recognized as the reincarnation of Khengen Tulku, the father of Dudjom Rinpoche. [1]
Training
Tulku Pema Yeshe became a direct student of Dudjom Rinpoche, and received a lot of teachings from him.
Activity and Final Years
Tulku Pema Yeshe passed away quite young, in his thirties, while receiving the Rinchen Terdzö empowerment from Dudjom Rinpoche. [2]
Reincarnation
Dudjom Rinpoche recognized his own son, Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche, as the reincarnation of Tulku Pema Yeshe.
According to Shenphen Dawa Rinpoche:
- My father Dudjom Rinpoche said that Tulku Pema Yeshe made a definitive commitment to him, saying that he would be reborn as his son, if he would pay that kindness back to him, because he had been in his previous life his father [Khengen Tulku]. My father agreed, so there was a definitive communication.
