Lama Pema Longdrol (Tib. བླ་མ་པདམ་ཀློང་གྲོལ་, Wyl. bla ma padma klong grol) aka Lopön Longdrol (Wyl. slob dpon klong grol) was a senior Bhutanese disciple of Dudjom Rinpoche. After receiving from him the empowerment of the Rinchen Terdzö in Buthan, he followed Dudjom Rinpoche to Tibet.

Birth

He was born in the Nyo lineage of Gyalwa Lhanangpa (a major siddhas of the Drikung Kagyü, and he was an example of a realized being and a hidden yogi.

Training

Lama Pema Longdrol served Dudjom Rinpoche in Tibet for almost 15 years. After, Lama Pema Longdrol and his wife came to Kalimpong in West Bengal, India.

Lama Pema Longdrol continued to serve Dudjom Rinpoche until Rinpoche left for Kathmandu and then on to France and received all the teachings including the Dzogchen instructions directly from Dudjom Rinpoche.

While Dudjom Rinpoche was his Root Guru, Lama Pema Longdrol also received teachings from:

  1. Chatral Sangye Dorje
  2. Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
  3. Dodrupchen Rinpoche
  4. Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö

Activity
