Powo (Tib. སྤོ་བོ་, Wyl. spo bo) aka Puwo (Tib སྤུ་བོ་, Wyl. spu bo) is one of the four main regions comprising South Eastern Tibet. Until the early twentieth century Powo was a virtually independent kingdom.[1]
