Drom Rinchen Bar (Wyl. 'brom rin chen 'bar) (9th-10th centuries) was born in Central Tibet and was placed under the care of the teacher Bé Lodrö Wangchuk, from whom he received the oral lineage (Wyl. snyan rgyud) of the secret Nyingtik teachings. He was granted the complete, uninterrupted transmission of authentic pith instructions from India and Tibet, with nothing left out, like one vase being filled from another. After reaching accomplishment, he passed the instructions on to Dangma Lhundrup Gyaltsen in a one-to-one transmission.[1]
