Se Dorje Palzang (d.1960?), ‘Indestructible Noble Glory’, was a son of Dudjom Rinpoche and Sangyum Kusho Tseten Yudron, and a brother of Semo Dechen Yudron, Thinley Norbu Rinpoche and Dola Tulku Jigme Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche.

According to Thinley Norbu Rinpoche [1]: ‘My brother was very fresh and brave with a natural mind. In his youth he was murdered by the savage Red Guard for heroic resistance.’

It seems Se Dorje Palzang was based around Lama Ling, the centre founded by his father Dudjom Rinpoche as ‘The original temple of Lama Ling was destroyed during the 1960’s, but for a small image of Chemchok Heruka. In 1987, the ruined wall still bore the fingerprints of Se Dorje Palzang, who was killed at that time” [2]

In the 1960’s political events, Se Dorje Palzang passed away.
